Happy Horse Riding Academy is run by love: love for horses and love for kids. There’s no other riding school quite like it on the Costa del Sol, offering an environment where children of all ages can learn together, play together and work together.
From ages 2 to 16, the children at Happy Horse Riding Academy thrive on interaction, comraderie, togetherness and competition. Older children are encouraged and taught how to help with the younger riders in playtime and in the arena; younger children are helped to grow in confidence, respect and skill.
Through learning about horse care, theory and the all-important riding skills, all the children, whatever their age, learn compassion and drive to take them forward in every part of their future lives.
Dawn Strang and Debbie Prescott with the unfailing help of their team of volunteers have created Happy Horse Riding Academy, a non profit riding school where all funds raised go towards the care and welfare of the ponies and horses. Their mission is to teach children how to ride in a safe, secure and fun loving environment.
