We are excited to announce our first dressage competition taking place on 7th October at Yeguada La Granja.
Plans include an under 10s class (with under 7s being allowed to be at the end of the lead rope for safety purposes) in a large open arena quite different to the enclosed arena most of the children have experienced so far. Their test will be mainly walk with trot down long sides – an introductory walk and trot test and two preliminary tests. Classes will be €10 per entry and we will place up to 6th place. In the under 10s test, all children will leave with an award for taking part.
All classes will be by pre entry. You can pay on the day but you must enter by 1st October. Tests to be announced 2nd week in August and dressage competition times posted on 4th October for the event taking place on 7th October.
If you would like to take part in the competition, contact Dawn with details of which tests you would like to try. Dress smart (you will not be marked down if you have the wrong colour clothes – it is all about having ago and having some fun).
